In 2019, Front Porch retirement communities‘ residents as well as the public were invited to answer the question, “what’s your message to the world”?
let’s take it outside
At the end of my artist residency in 2019 at Studio Faire in France, I asked the group the question, “what’s your message to the world?”. We all wrote a few messages then in the morning had a bit of a ceremony where we went around the circle each reading one message at a time. We then hung the messages on a tree and let them stay through the winter, to wear and decay creating holes and areas for the messages to be delivered out into the world.
